Ist es an der Zeit, die angezogene Handbremse zu überdenken? Wie mutig und kraftvoll wird die Mode im Herbst/Winter 2026/27? Darüber diskutierten am 2. und 3. April in Leipzig die Teilnehmer der ModEurop ColourClubConference. Beste Voraussetzungen boten Location und Rahmenprogramm. Die Präsentation der Trends inclusive finaler Farbauswahl für die Erstellung der ModEurop Colour Card H/W 26/27 fand auf dem Campus der Macromedia Akademie statt. Wie immer mit einem Blick über den modischen Tellerrand: mit ihrem Vortrag „Pixel, Posen, Persönlichkeit – Charakterdesign und Visual Storytelling“ gab Macromedia Dozentin Julia Faulwetter spannende Einblicke in die faszinierende Welt des Gamedesigns.
Visionär und inspirierend. Welche Materialien könnten unseren Alltag in den kommenden Jahren dominieren? Kann man aus Orangenschalen Leder herstellen? Werden Mikroorganismen wie Algen und Pilze die Materialien der Zukunft? Mögliche Antworten und darüber hinaus viele neue Impulse für das Design und die Produktion von Schuhen und Accessoires vermittelte die Sonderausstellung „Zukünfte – Material und Design von Morgen“, die noch bis zum 24. August im Grassi Museum für angewandte Kunst zu sehen ist.
Die ModEurop Farben im Herbst/Winter 2026/27
„Das Trendpendel schwingt zwischen puritanischem Minimalismus und historischer Dekoration“, sagen die ModEurop Creative Directors Martin Wuttke und Uta Riechers-Wuttke. Für Herbst/Winter 26/27 prophezeien sie eine tragbare Eleganz, die die DNA der Marke in den Fokus rückt. Dekoration und Boho Attitude treffen auf mehr Schliff und kreieren einen raffinierten Realismus. Das Erfolgskonzept der Zukunft: Mode, die Eskapismus und Einzigartigkeit verbindet und dabei gleichzeitig die Bedürfnisse der realen Welt mit einbezieht.
Die drei ModEurop Farbthemen für Herbst/Winter 26/27 greifen diese Entwicklungen auf. Das nordisch inspirierte Thema Mystic Force bewegt sich zwischen Castlecore, Militaria und fantasievollem Yeti. Felle und Pelzdetails treffen auf mystische Violett-Nuancen und dunkles Oliv. Schlammige Töne werden durch Pistazie geboostet. Brauntöne steuern den Hygge Aspekt bei. Classy Collective übersetzt Heritage in einen zeitgemäßen Kontext. Das Szenario: Unregelmäßige Strukturen, Prägungen, Glanz und Python bei den Materialien; kühle Nuancen bei den Farben. Neutrale Grautöne werden durch Grün, Saphir und Orange sowie Majestic Red in Szene gesetzt. Sattbraunes Wenge-Wood rundet das Farbthema auf warme Weise ab. Bei der Farbpalette Noble Fellows prallen zwei Welten aufeinander: einerseits ruhige Eleganz, andererseits sportliche Dynamik. Nappa mit leichtem Schimmer, Pull-off, Lack und Crush-Effekte sorgen neben Karo- und Bouclé-Strukturen für Bewegung. Winterliche Stimmung verbreiten warme Scotch und goldene Ockertöne, die auf Senf, Rot und Icy Lake treffen. Dunkles Magenta, Blue Sky und Opalblau lassen vibrierende Dynamik mit winterlichem Charme entstehen.

ModEurop creates the color card for fall/winter 26/27 in Leipzig
Is it time to rethink the handbrake? How bold and powerful will fashion be in fall/winter 2026/27? Participants at the ModEurop ColourClubConference in Leipzig on April 2 and 3 discussed this question. The location and supporting program offered the best conditions. The presentation of the trends including the final color selection for the creation of the ModEurop Colour Card F/W 26/27 took place on the campus of the Macromedia Academy.
Which materials could dominate our everyday lives in the coming years? Can leather be made from orange peel? Will microorganisms such as algae and fungi become the materials of the future? The special exhibition “Futures - Material and Design of Tomorrow”, which can be seen at the Grassi Museum of Applied Arts until August 24, provides possible answers and many new ideas for the design and production of shoes and accessories.

The ModEurop colors in autumn/winter 2026/27
“The trend pendulum is swinging between puritanical minimalism and historical decoration,” say ModEurop Creative Directors Martin Wuttke and Uta Riechers-Wuttke. For fall/winter 26/27, they predict a wearable elegance that brings the brand's DNA into focus. Decoration and boho attitude meet more polish and create a refined realism. The successful concept of the future: fashion that combines escapism and uniqueness while incorporating the needs of the real world.
The three ModEurop color themes for fall/winter 26/27 pick up on these developments. The Nordic-inspired Mystic Force theme moves between castlecore, militaria and imaginative yeti. Furs and fur details meet mystical violet nuances and dark olive. Muddy tones are boosted by pistachio. Brown tones contribute the hygge aspect. Classy Collective translates heritage into a contemporary context. The scenario: irregular structures, embossing, gloss and python in the materials; cool nuances in the colors. Neutral gray tones are set off by green, sapphire, orange and majestic red. Rich brown wenge wood rounds off the color theme in a warm way. Two worlds collide in the Noble Fellows color palette: calm elegance on the one hand and sporty dynamism on the other. Nappa with a slight shimmer, pull-off, patent and crushed effects provide movement alongside check and bouclé textures. Warm scotch and golden ochre tones, which meet mustard, red and Icy Lake, create a wintery mood. Dark magenta, blue sky and opal blue create a vibrant dynamic with winter charm.
